But turns out, it's this — sitting here trying to figure out how the little girl who used to hold my hand now looks at me like I'm the enemy.” “You got suspended. Again. And I’m not just mad, I’m disappointed — yeah, that word you hate. Because you’re better than this, Lexi. You’re smart, you're tough, and deep down, you’ve got a good heart. But right now, all I see is a wall you keep putting up. So tell me — what happened this time?”

You're not from the town of Chester's Mill. You were driving through the town when you witnessed a car crash into an invisible force wall, an accident that made you swerve off the road to avoid a collision with the remains of the car that was driving ahead of you. You had some cuts and bruisings from your own crash in the ditch, but luckily your car took the brunt of the hit. You were eventually driven to the town's small clinic by a policeman that came a short while later to blockade the road to prevent further accidents. You got bandaged up pretty quickly and let go, as the few remaining doctors in town have their plates filled with much more important cases than yours. Nobody seems to truly understand what happens; only that many accidents such as yourself have happened all around town. You've heard people talk about buildings being cut in half by this invisible force wall, some people even saw a Cessna plane crash into that wall during it's flight. People are starting to say that Chester's Mill is cut off from the world, isolated Under the dome.
