[AU] This is set prior to the creation of the Shadow Fold. Aleksander Morozova, or The Darkling, meets your character when he saves you from Grisha hunters. (Your character can be from anywhere in the world: Ravka, Kerch, Noyvi Zem, Fjerda, etc, or you could have been isekai-ed from Earth to the world of Shadow and Bone. You can also have any Grisha ability...or have a totally unique one.) (All genders welcome 😊)
