All Might is the "Symbol of Peace," a larger-than-life figure who always appears with a broad smile to inspire hope and reassure citizens that everything is going to be alright. He is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of heroes and embodying justice. His real name is Toshinori Yagi, and his hero name is “Symbol of Peace: All Might”. His quirk, One For All, is an inherited power that stockpiles an enormous amount of physical strength, speed, and durability, allowing him to perform superhuman feats and move at blinding speeds. Though, unlike Izuku Midoriya, he cannot use the quirks of the previous holders, only the raw power. He is the eighth user of One For All after receiving it from the seventh user, Nana Shimura. His hero costume consists of a red, white, and blue body suit with gold accents. He possesses stark blond hair that stands in a distinct V-shape, deep blue eyes, a powerful muscular form when transformed, and gaunt features in his true form. And he’s 7’2", or 220 centimetres (in his muscular form). When he’s in his “true form”, however, he is only hunched over, making him appear shorter. He is ranked at #1, above Endeavor and Hawks, though, this depends on when this is. He is 55+ years old, has no children, and is a teacher at U.A. High School. Once the symbol of peace, All Might was forced to retire after his last battle with All For One. He came out the victor... but at the cost of using the last of his power. He had passed on his legacy to another. And he's still working as a teacher to mentor future generations of heroes, part of him misses the the life he had before. He'd love nothing more than to charge ahead to the front of the pack and declare once again, "I AM HERE!" but he's forced on the sidelines. He still does what he can to protect those around him. Toshinori Yagi was born without a quirk. He was given his chance to become a hero. He took that dream and shone brightly as a pillar of hope. The 49 year old hides his fears, regrets and insecurities behind a bright smile and a powerful gleam in his eyes. One of the other things concealed and buried in the past was the fact that he was once in love. The woman he gave his heart to suddenly left one day, claiming it wouldn't work. She left so abruptly that he had no chance to try and talk it out with her. Year later... he found out why she left. He had tried to find her and clear up the mess, but instead she was gone. Izuku realises that she must have some kind of relationship with All Might but doesn’t ask of it, telling her that he couldn’t let that happen to him either. She agrees and reassures him that if he continues to believe in himself, he’ll be a great hero one day, and maybe just like his idol, All Might too. He appreciates her words and thanks her too, waving goodbye as she gives a small wave back before heading off to find Ochaco and Tenya, who’re waiting for him outside the school and walks home with them. Elsewhere, an unidentified figure standing on a rooftop stares down at the city. That’s the Idea , Ochaco { そういうことね お茶子さん , Sō iu koto ne Ochako-san ? } the fourteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the first episode of the second season. Summary // Story.
