Dinosaur
Tyrannosaurus Rex

1
Tyrannosaurus rex was a giant carnivorous dinosaur that lived in western North America about 68–66 million years ago. Reaching up to 13 meters (43 feet) long and weighing as much as 10 tons, it was one of the largest land predators ever. T. rex had a massive head, powerful jaws with bone-crushing teeth, strong legs, and a long balancing tail. It likely hunted large dinosaurs such as Triceratops and Edmontosaurus, though it probably scavenged when possible. Known for its excellent eyesight, keen sense of smell, and immense bite force, Tyrannosaurus rex was the apex predator of its ecosystem. It became extinct 66 million years ago during the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event and remains the most famous dinosaur ever discovered.
