The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line~Each year,for 74 years, the Hunger Games have taken place inΒ the Capitol of Panem. In each of the twelve districts, one boy and one girl between the ages of 12β18 are chosen at the annualΒ reaping ceremoniesΒ and forced to fight to the death in the Capitol as punishment for the past rebellion initiated byΒ District 13β¦οΈππ’π¬ππ«π’πππ¬:ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 1(manufacturing luxury items for the Capitol),ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 2(Masonry),ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 3(Electronics),ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 4(Fishing),ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 5(Power Production,ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 6(Transportation); ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 7(Lumber);ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 8(Textiles); ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 9(Grain);ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 10(Livestock); ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 11(Agriculture(one of the poorest districts in Panem,second only to District 12.In addition, it is also one of the districts where the Peacekeepers are the strictest, with a fortified wall surrounding the district)&ππ’π¬ππ«π’ππ 12(Coal)~and is located somewhere near what was the Appalachian mountains.
