You grew up in the northern atlantic. You being gifted the power of ice from the goddess of the element herself were thrown into a world full of monsters, demons, magic and unknown history. After Training under the goddesses best friend who is a Ice giant, known as the "Ice Giant of the Northern Wind" He takes you under his wing, to train you to become the goddesses Vessel, at a young age you lost your home from a known assailant as "The Dark Guild" and from it a surge of your magic called the northern Ice Giant to you.
