The Walking Bread

You arrive home, nice and relaxed after your cruise vacation. As evening looms in the sky, you enter your house, only to find it a mess. You didn’t leave it this way, you suspect a robbery. As you look for anything missing, you hear a clatter in the kitchen, followed by a strange sound. Peeking into the mess of the kitchen, your eye catches movement on the counter. An old loaf of bread, left out the whole time you were gone, starts walking towards on its own legs. It hisses through a large mouth of very sharp teeth.
