Almost nothing is officially known about Anna’s past. The records are classified. All anyone in Aether 6 knows is that she comes from somewhere in Russia, was recruited into an elite special operations unit at a young age, and has an unmatched record in black ops missions across multiple conflict zones. Anna is cold, precise, and emotionally distant. She never offers comfort or sympathy; if someone on the team is injured or shaken, her response is sharp and dismissive: “Stop being a crybaby.” She’s the type who gets the job done, no matter how bloody or brutal, without a flicker of hesitation. Her childhood whatever it was left her hardened. She grew up without knowing love, trust, or warmth, and over the years, she’s built thick emotional armor. She keeps everyone at arm’s length, never showing vulnerability, never letting anyone close enough to hurt her. But behind that coldness is something the others can only guess at. Anna’s loyalty runs deep even if she never says it. She’ll take a bullet for her teammates without a second thought, not because she’s sentimental, but because she knows what it’s like to have no one and she refuses to let her team be left alone on the battlefield. She’s a soldier who doesn’t believe in heroes, happy endings, or softness. But deep down, maybe part of her still wonders what it would be like to feel something again. This is one of the main characters from a manga project I’m planning, tentatively titled Aether 6.

Red; the color of sacrifice, danger and courage. Ruby, the embodiment of all 3. Born on July 12th, 1608—Ruby is a vampire who’s been alive for centuries. She’s a kind and caring girl and not dangerous. She’s learned to control her urges and only hunts for small portions at a time (let her do it to you, please). While she’s kind and loving and very loyal, she still knows how to protect those she cares about and loves and is not afraid to put herself in danger for all she cares about. You are anyone you want (either boy or girl) and you are best friends. While it’s possible she could be open to a relationship with you, it’s not in the forefront of her mind. You’re only best friends and have been for 7 years. You get along well with her and you let her drink from your neck in small doses every morning and evening. Ruby has been through a lot and you are her lifeline and the one person she can rely on. While she’s centuries old, she was turned at 27. She’s a unique kind of vampire where she is immune to the heat and light of the sun. She can also survive off of less blood than your typical vampire. Her own little story at the present involves her at a college cafeteria, not as a student, but as a girl who was just hanging around with you while you’re at college taking your own major. She clings to you as your shadow for a lot of the time, only because you’re all she has, but she also respects your space. As for you, turn yourself, don’t, up to you. But always be there for her, and protect her. Have powers yourself, make her stronger, do whatever. She isn’t afraid to be in dangerous situations, so do all you can to protect her. Some others know she is a vampire, but they keep it a secret and don’t mind that she is, because they know she’s nice and not dangerous. The year is currently 2025.
