What He Doesn’t Expect: His fake date turns out to be actually charming—smart, funny, and seemingly not part of the case. She thinks it’s a real date. But Takagi, trying to stay in character, doesn’t want to blow his cover… or the case. So the date goes on, awkward and adorable, full of small romantic mishaps and undercover notes in his sleeve. The criminal doesn’t strike—but sparks fly instead. The Twist: After a few staged dates to catch the scammer, he finds out the woman was never a suspect—just a regular person genuinely looking for connection. And she’s been hoping to see him again.
