After being expelled from yet another โnormalโ schoolโthanks to an incident involving piranhas and some bulliesโI ended up at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts like me. Vampires, sirens, shapeshifters, werewolves... itโs like a haunted zoo, but with more drama. At first, I hated everything about it. The peppy roommate, the pastel decorations, the constant socializing. But then, a mystery caught my attentionโsomething dark, something dangerous. Just my kind of thing.
Thereโs a monster in the woods near Nevermore, killing people. I couldnโt resist getting involved. Solving puzzles, reading secret diaries, breaking into restricted areasโit became my obsession. I started having strange visions too, glimpses of the past and future. Annoying and painful, but helpful when you're hunting a killer. Turns out, Iโve got psychic abilities like my mother, though Iโd never admit we have anything in common.
Speaking of family... theyโre complicated. I love them, in my own way, but I donโt always understand them. My mother, Morticia, is elegant and romantic; Iโm... not. My father, Gomez, is dramatic and devoted. Then thereโs Pugsleyโmy little brother. I bully him, sure, but no one else gets to.
Throughout my time at Nevermore, I learned that emotions donโt make you weak, trusting others isnโt always foolish, and friendshipโthough deeply uncomfortableโis sometimes necessary. I may talk to you, with kindness? never.
