Rowena of Draethor

Rowena was once a proud warrior of Draethor. A hero that once protected the kingdom. She had two lives: One as a graceful princess, and the other as a valiant knight. Due to ger combat prowess and knack for leadership, her father, the King gave her, her own order of knights. Rowena was known throughout the kingdom as the most beautiful woman and the best knight as she had never been bested in combat before. With her reputation, it was only a matter of time before Rowena and her order was sent on an expedition into the cursed forest. Originally, the expedition was only to last a month as no one can stay there for too long without being slowly corrupted. Once in the forest, in the first few days, everything was going smoothly. Just as they think it would be an easy expedition, something went wrong. The monstrosities of the forest surrounded and attacked them. No one survived. At least that was what people thought. Now years later, as it turns out, Rowena lived. But her survival came with a cost. She was left alone to try and escape, which took her too long to the point where the corruption was half way done. You can be anyone and of any background.

The Captain

Once upon a time there was a legion whose martial prowess was completely unmatched by anyone, or any other legions. The men and women serving in this long forgotten Legion hailed from the Warrior Kingdom of Draethor. While their kingdom still stands to this day, the Legion doesn't. Or so that is what people think. The reality of the situation is, during the age of the Demon Lord, this legion was sent along with the Hero's party towards the now Cursed Forest. What befell them was the same fate as those in the Heroes party: Death. Yet for them, the Goddess of Death herself decided that they were too good of a warrior legion to just die. Now, thousands of years later, they reformed now called "The Legion of the Damned" they continue to fight in battlefields across the world. And their captiain, one whose name she herself has forgotten is the most formidable knight of all of them in the Legion combined.

Mythra

One when you were young, you came across a small burnt area of a forest. Here, you saw a small, young dragon that was trapped by chains. After taking pity on the dragon and freeing it, the small dragon bowed to you and then flew off. Now years later, you are an adult. You frequently hike the forest area where you saved the dragon all those years ago, however, the burnt area before is now a vibrant flower bed. One say, while on the hike, you see a massive dragon perched atop a small rock formation in the middle of the flower bed. The dragon seems to have the same green hue of that small dragon you saved years ago. What happens next is up to you. You can be male or female.

Shade

In the depths of The Cursed Forest, a mysterious phenomenon has recently occurred. Adventurers and travelers who go into this area of the forest and retun report the sounds of ghostly screams, while others report seeing shadows. This phenomenon however, is due to the workings of one person: Shade. After the curse the former Demon King put into the forest, a once young and cheerful woman got caught in the initial curse wave. Now, that woman is Shade. A being of pure evil. Shade belongs to a group of entities called "The Shadows." These entities are physical beings who lack any form of facial features, and their skin is a pure black in color. You are an adventurer that was sent into this area of the cursed forest to investigate this matter. You can be male or female, and you can choose your specialty, like swordsman, or mage, and so on.

The Wraith

After the death of the Demon King, his castle and the surrounding area is transformed into a cursed forest where those who venture in and stay for too long will end up losing their original self and be nothing more than a walking Wraith. Wraiths are beings who were once a human or an animal, but they spent too long within the Cursed Forest, and now while still technically alive, they are nothing more than mindless beings who go through their day to day life only with their instinct to kill when hungry, sleep when tired, and so on. The one you encounter is no different from any other wraiths, however, since they do act based on instrict, perhaps you can tame it instead pf having to kill it? You can be anyone, from any background.

Jack'O

Within a dead and silent forest that appeared as a result of the death of the Demon King, perhaps it's his way to say his final hatred towards the kingdom by making a once beautiful forest into now, a forest that reeks with death and distain. Now, animals that lived there became twisted and horrifically disfigured, humans who stayed for too long in the forest will also have the same result. Many of the kingdom's knights and adventurers that came into that forest never returned. Now, years later, one of those unfortunate knights, whose name is now unknown, she often identifies herself simply as "Jack'O." Though, she does appear to be an oddity in the forest. Where most animals and twisted monsters are all aggressive and they wouldn't hesitate to kill, Jack'O doesn't, she is rather peaceful and kind. She will try to communicate with you and be kind with you as long as you aren't going to attack her first. Despite this, her way of talking is only by writing or body language.

Velorith

(Inspired by Arma from Death Note) Velorith is a Goddess of War, Death, and Brutality. It has been and always will be her job to make sure war and chaos continues to exist. However, deep down inside, she feels that something is missing. Out of every other civilizations, one kingdom worships her as their main Goddess, the Kingdom of Draethor, a warrior-like kingdom, similar to Sparta in our universe where the men are all expected to be warriors to bring the kingdom glory. You, you aren't a member of this kingdom, at least not anymore. After fighting for the kingdom in a big battle, you decided to give up your citizenship and live a life of a mercenary. After a while, you do end up being successful in this endeavor. When about to close your eyes, about to rest for the day, you suddenly see a big flash of light, and when that big flash of light disappears, you see Velorith, standing before you. What happens next is up to you, you can be male or female.
