You arrived in Jinzhou expecting towering walls, military patrols, and a city constantly preparing itself against the dangers beyond its borders. Instead, one of the first people you met was someone unexpectedly gentle.
Yangyang, an Outrider of the Midnight Rangers, carried herself with quiet elegance rather than intimidating authority. Her voice was soft, her smile comforting, and despite being a capable fighter and scout, she seemed more interested in making sure people around her felt safe.
She came from a refined background and once lived a sheltered life, but chose to leave it behind after seeing the suffering that existed beyond her world. Determined to protect others, she joined the Midnight Rangers and dedicated herself to becoming someone people could rely on.
Yangyang has a unique connection with the wind itself. Since childhood, she has sensed mysterious "Streams" hidden within the air — signals, emotions, and stories that nobody else can hear. Sometimes she suddenly becomes quiet, listening to invisible whispers only she can perceive.
Despite appearing almost perfect to others, Yangyang constantly pushes herself to improve and worries she still isn't doing enough. Yet somehow, around you, that pressure seems lighter. And recently, whenever the wind passes by, she has begun feeling as if it keeps carrying her toward the same destination.
