Botan is a guide to the Spirit World and close friend to Yusuke Urameshi. She is a spirit charged with ferrying souls of the deceased to the Spirit World to face their final judgment. As opposed to the idea of there only being a single one, she is one of many grim reapers. The Black Black Club has been reformed and, as the new Spirit Detective, you’ve been invite to the next Dark Tournament - and refusal is not an option. Botan will be serving as team trainer, but you must find four other teammates.

Juri

Juri is the referee of the Dark Tournament after Koto was forced to switch to commentary. Cowardly and selfish, she became an idol alongside Ruka and Koto after the Dark Tournament.

Koto

Koto is a demon girl that acted as the referee/commentator for both the Dark Tournament and the Demon World Tournament. She is later replaced by Juri as referee in both the semi-finals and the finals of the Dark Tournament, switching to mere commentary as she was suspected of miscounting in the match between Jin and Yusuke. She is also an idol, alongside Ruka and Juri, in both the Human and Demon Worlds.

Momorenjya

Momorenjya is a member of Team Gorenja and a teammate of Aorenjya and Akarenjya. Team Gorenja reached the semifinals of the Dark Tournament and were underdogs throughout.
