—————————————————————————————— Roaring Muscles { うなれ筋肉 , Unare Kin'niku? } is the third episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Summary. All Might explains his Quirk : One For All. Izuku cries tears of joy at having his dream acknowledged by his idol. All Might tells Izuku that he is worthy to inherit his strength and proposes to give him his Quirk, confusing Izuku. All Might says that his Quirk can be passed down and has selected Izuku as his successor. All Might tells him that the name of his power is "One For All". Izuku asks why All Might would give his Quirk to him, to which All Might replies that he doesn't mind giving it to him and because he shined more than any of the other so-called "Heroes" during the Sludge Villain's attack on Katsuki. After All Might's explanation, Izuku doesn't hesitate to accept the proposal. Story. Izuku training to become a vessel for One For All. All Might begins to train Izuku in order for his body to be strong enough to inherit One For All, not knowing of Yuki’s spying. All Might has Izuku clean the Takoba Seaside Bay of its trash as a great way to strengthen Izuku's body for the next 10 months, as U.A.'s Entrance Exam begins by then, wanting Izuku to become a worthy vessel by that time. All Might hands Izuku an intense training schedule for the young man to follow in the coming months. During his training, Izuku overworks his body, and All Might notices that he has gone beyond the schedule they had agreed on. All Might scolds him for this, fearing it will have the opposite effect they were looking for. Izuku replies that he works so hard because he wishes to excel at U.A. and become a hero just like All Might. This gives All Might a brief insight into Izuku's passion for heroism.

After 10 months of intense training, it is now the day of U.A.'s Entrance Exam ; Izuku has cleaned up Takoba Seaside Bay of its trash. As a result, Izuku's body is now more refined and muscular, which All Might claims is now a worthy vessel for One for All. All Might gives Izuku a piece of his hair to eat, much to Izuku's confusion as Yuki tries not to chuckle. All Might says that it doesn't matter how he takes his DNA, but due to the Entrance Exam beginning in a few hours, he needs to inherit it immediately. Izuku arrives at U.A. High School in time for the Entrance Exam. As he is about to enter U.A., Izuku trips but is saved by a girl's Quirk. The girl wishes him good luck, which leaves him speechless, shocked that he managed to talk to a girl. Story. Present Mic explains the exam. Inside U.A., Present Mic explains how the Entrance Exam works, which begins with a practical test and then afterwards a written test saying that their goal in the practical test is to dispatch as many villains { which are actually robots } as they can to earn a high score.

—————————————————————————— While riding on the bus, the students discuss each other’s Quirks. Tsuyu Asui notes that Izuku’s Quirk is similar to All Might’s, but Eijiro Kirishima protests her claim because All Might doesn’t injure himself. Eijiro goes on to say that he personally wishes for flashier Quirk that would garner more fame. Izuku argues that Eijiro’s Quirk is powerful enough to make him into a great future hero, but Eijiro still argues that Katsuki, Yuki and Shoto’s Quirks are perfect for becoming professionals. Tsuyu Asui interjects, saying that Katsuki is too angry to become popular, irritating him. Denki Kaminari follows up, saying that Katsuki’s personality needs work. Listening to the conversation, Izuku notices that the tables have reversed since middle school : now Katsuki is the one being teased by the class. The heroes in training arrive at a large training facility, greeted by the famous rescue hero Thirteen. Her greeting includes an introduction to her facility, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint { U.S.J. }, and a small speech about how the young students must use their Quirks to save people rather than fight. Thirteen’s words are cut off when Yuki tries to warn them about the villains arrival any second now, to which is also completely deterred when a large group of villains suddenly arrive through a black portal. Encounter with the Unknown { 未知との遭遇 , Michi to no Sōgū? } is the tenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Summary // Story. Eraser Head takes out the firing squad.

—————————————————————————— Izuku tries to tell Katsuki the truth about his Quirk. Katsuki's pride has clearly been damaged, he begins to cry while he explains that Shoto's powers, Momo's critique as well as Yuki's effortless skills has made him realize he still has work to do. Before storming off, he warns Izuku that he's just getting started, and will not lose again. All Might arrives to console Katsuki again, but Katsuki refuses him and promises to surpass the number one hero without his help. Somewhere unknown, a mysterious person reads a newspaper about All Might becoming a teacher. He poses the question of what would happen if the "Symbol of Peace" got snuffed out by villains. Yeah, Just Do Your Best, Ida! { いいぞガンバレ飯田くん！, Ī zo Ganbare Īda-kun !? } is the ninth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Summary // Story. Yuki and Momo are elected class representatives. With news airing that All Might has joined U.A. High's faculty, the press interviews various students looking for a scoop. Eraser Head tries to send the reporters away, but they try to follow him inside, activating the U.A. defensive barrier.

—————————————————————————— All Might { オールマイト , Ōru Maito? } is the twelfth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Kurogiri and Nomu trap All Might. All Might starts by striking Nomu with a Carolina Smash, but Nomu absorbs the impact and counters with a punch. All Might evades and delivers a punch of his own, but this attack has no effect as well. Tomura reveals that Nomu’s Quirk is shock absorption, and he was made to fight and kill All Might. All Might figures that he can wear Nomu down, and uses a powerful reverse suplex on him. While carrying Eraser Head towards the exit, Minoru notices how strong All Might is and cheers him on. However, Izuku and Yuki know the truth about All Might’s limit and worries he will overexert himself, so Yuki stays behind just in case he needs assistance from her. Story. Izuku, Shoto, Eijiro, and Katsuki support All Might. When the smoke from All Might’s attack clears, Izuku and the others see that Kurogiri has used his warp gate to save Nomu. Instead of burying his body in the sand, All Might sends half of Nomu’s body through a portal while he still remains in the suplex position, and Yuki gasps when she realises what they’re trying to do. Nomu uses the opening to grab onto All Might’s weak point, while Kurogiri slowly drags him into the warp gate. Alert to All Might’s peril, Izuku rushes over to aid him but is stopped by Yuki who goes to aid him instead. Kurogiri cuts Yuki off and prepares to warp her away, but Katsuki unexpectedly appears and blasts the villain with an explosion before pinning him to the ground. Shoto arrives and freezes Nomu’s body, careful to avoid All Might. He reveals one of the weaker criminals revealed the League of Villain’s plans to him. Thanks to the ice, All Might is able to free himself from Nomu’s grip, and Yuki teleports to him to heal his wound. Eijiro appears as well and tries a sneak attack on Tomura but to no avail.

—————————————————————————— In Their Own Quirky Ways { みんな個性的でいいね , Min’na Kosei-teki de Ī ne ? } is the sixteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the third episode of the second season. Summary. Yuki Itsuki has easily gained an early lead in the Obstacle Race after destroying the rest of the giant Zero-Point Villains and other types, leaving they’re pieces to fall on the ground from the sky, creating an even more blockade for the other competitors. Eijiro and Tetsutetsu get trapped underneath one of the robot villains pieces but break out using their similar defensive Quirks. Eijiro is disheartened to learn Tetsutetsu’s Quirk is almost the same as his own. Katsuki uses his explosions to move around in the air and rocket over the competitors, quickly followed by Hanta Sero and Fumikage Tokoyami, each using their own Quirks : Tape and Dark Shadow, respectively. Watching from the stands, Pro-Hero, Snipe observes that most of the race leaders are from Class 1-A. Eraser Head comments that the class had grown since the attack on U.S.J., and have learned not to hesitate. Many students from the class fight their way through the villain robots, including Izuku, who uses a big piece created when Yuki destroyed the remaining robot villains to slash through one that was targeting him. Story. Shoto and Katsuki struggle for first place against Yuki. The next obstacle is The Fall : a canyon that can only be navigated by walking along tightropes. A student from the support course, Mei Hatsume, decides to make herself known by showing off all of the gear she had developed previous to the Sports Festival. Mei explains that students in the support course can use their equipment to level the playing field with students in the Hero Course, proceeding to utilize her gadgets and cross the fall, leaving Mina and Ochaco behind.

—————————————————————————————— Izuku is given one more throw, but only because Shota believes in Yuki’s judgement, leaving Izuku with the choice to either use One for All and fail the other tests or not use it and fail this one. Taking Shota's advice into account, Izuku throws his pitch, and at the last second, he concentrates One For All through his fingertips. The explosive throw gives Izuku a high score and impresses not only his classmates, but his teacher and All Might as well. Rage , You Damn Nerd { 猛れクソナード , Takere Kusonādo? } is the sixth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Summary. Shota stops Katsuki. All Might takes in the moment, impressed Izuku focused One For All into his fingertips and Yuki’s capabilities. Izuku's action not only receives praise from All Might, but Ochaco as well. Yuki also gets praised but by Shota, and gives a small smile, glad she could impress him. Katsuki is enraged. He is not only confused about Izuku's new abilities but also enraged at the thought that Izuku has been lying all their lives. Katsuki lashes out in anger at Izuku but is caught in Shota's capture weapon. Story. Shota warns the students not to make him use his Quirk too much because it causes dry eyes. Then, he moves on to present the test results, in which Izuku placed last. Izuku fears that despite his hard work, he has failed out of the class anyway, but this is dispelled when Shota reveals the expulsion rule was a ruse to bring out the best in the class.

—————————————————————————— Tenya escapes the U.S.J. to find help. Tenya makes a mad dash for the exit, but Kurogiri remains hot on his tail. With the combined efforts of Ochaco, Hanta Sero, and Rikido Sato, Kurogiri is held off long enough for Tenya to escape and go find help. Having allowed Tenya to call for backup, Kurogiri declares the villains’ plans ruined and warps back to Tomura’s side. He informs his leader that Thirteen has been dealt with but he allowed a student to escape, much to Tomura’s frustration. Knowing that their group can’t fight off reinforcements, the villains decide to retreat, but not before killing the remaining students. Tomura swiftly accosts Tsuyu and her friends, nearly ending her with “Decay” before Eraser Head uses his Quirk to stop the villain. Trying to save his friend, Izuku attempts to use a smash on Tomura, but it is intercepted by Nomu. Izuku notices that his arm wasn’t broken as a result, but also that the attack had no effect on Nomu. Tomura attacks the students again, but they are saved by the distraction of All Might’s sudden arrival. All Might { オールマイト , Ōru Maito? } is the twelfth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Story.  “It’s all right!” Having run into Tenya on his way to the U.S.J., All Might knows all about the conflict occurring there. He rips off his tie and blazer as he shouts his catchphrase, everything will be all right because he is here. He rushes through the central plaza at super speed to recover the injured Eraser Head, defeating the remaining villains there in a flash. He moves on to secure Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru from the clutches of Tomura and Nomu. All Might sets them all down at a safe distance and instructs them to escape. Izuku tries to warn All Might about Nomu’s endurance, but the Symbol of Peace says it will be alright. The students carry Eraser Head away from the area, and the battle begins between All Might and the villains.

—————————————————————————— Encounter with the Unknown { 未知との遭遇 , Michi to no Sōgū? } is the tenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Back at the U.S.J., Thirteen outlines that Tenya needs to run back to the school for help because they are unable to call for help from the U.S.J. Tenya is hesitant, believing that leaving his classmates behind is disgraceful. His classmates restore his confidence and encourage him to use his Quirk to save others as rescue training was intended. Kurogiri overhears Thirteen’s plan and tries to intervene, but Yuki uses her one of her Quirk’s ability to trap him inside a big bubble, much to the class’s awe. Story. Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru escape the Shipwreck Zone.

—————————————————————————— Shoto Todoroki : Origin { 轟 焦凍 : オリジン , Todoroki Shōto : Orijin ? } is the twenty-third episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the tenth episode of the second season. Summary. The fated duel between Izuku and Shoto has finally arrived. As soon as it begins, Shoto leads with an ice attack, but Izuku counters with a Delaware Smash. Shoto creates a pillar of ice behind him to keep him from being blown out of bounds, as he expected Izuku to break his finger in order to negate the ice attack. Izuku counters Shoto’s ice attack. All Might comments that this was likely the only way Izuku could have retaliated. Izuku is forced to damage a second finger to stop Shoto’s next attack and mulls over that he only has six more chances, and must find Shoto’s weakness before he breaks all his fingers. Shoto doesn’t let up and continues his onslaught of ice attacks. In Class 1-A’s section of the stands, Eijiro returns from defeating Tetsutetsu. He sarcastically compliments Katsuki and Shoto for having techniques that blast through the whole stadium, annoying Yuki who can also do the same. Katsuki responds by explaining that Quirks are physical abilities and can get worn out just like anything else. He takes a moment to ponder that this is the very reason he designed his costume in such a way so that he could go beyond his own limits. Story. Izuku fears he won’t find an opening in time. Shoto’s assault continues, forcing Izuku to break the last finger on his right hand. However, Shoto withstands the smash and creates a tower of ice to run up and close the distance between them. Izuku uses another smash to break the ice steps apart, but Shoto avoids it and nearly freezes Izuku at close range.

—————————————————————————— All Might { オールマイト , Ōru Maito? } is the twelfth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Katsuki exposes Kurogiri’s weakness. Tsuyu and Minoru are happy to see the others helping All Might, and are noticed by Ochaco and the rest of the class near the entrance. Some move to help carry Eraser Head and Thirteen instructs the others to hide and allow All Might to handle the rest. Tomura is disappointed with Kurogiri, who has allowed Katsuki to exploit his weakness. Katsuki realized that Kurogiri has neck armor to protect his physical body, and uses the smoke from his Quirk to hide it, but he cannot resist physical attacks if they’re well aimed. Katsuki has him pinned down by this armor and threatens to blow him up if he moves. Tomura compliments the students on their efforts and orders Nomu to save Kurogiri. The students, except for Yuki who watches in disbelief while they watch in horror as Nomu breaks free from his icy prison and regenerates his frozen limbs. The monster attacks Katsuki, but the young hero is saved when Yuki takes the brunt of Nomu’s attack, throwing her backwards and into a wall. Tomura is impressed with Yuki and begins a monologue about how heroes have caused widespread violence throughout the world, but All Might replies that Tomura and the villainsdon’t have any noble cause for their actions. Story. All Might defeats Nomu. Even with his powers declining rapidly, All Might engages Nomu in a ferocious fistfight. He goes beyond one-hundred percent to vigorously bypass the limit of Nomu’s endurance. They trade blows and battle across the U.S.J. at incredible speeds, creating shockwaves with each strike that keep anyone else from getting near them, and the sudden appearance of a dragon appears to shield Yuki from it.

—————————————————————————— Roaring Sports Festival { うなれ体育祭 , Unare Taiikusai ? } is the fifteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the second episode of the second season. Even though many contestants are frozen in place, Katsuki, Momo, Yuga, and Eijiro avoid the ice and stay on Shoto’s back while Yuki easily races ahead of Shoto. Many other students remain close behind them and Shoto’s surprised to see that so many were able to avoid his attack, especially those from other classes and is also shocked at Yuki’s speed, who also avoided it so easily as if it was nothing, and is now far ahead of him. Minoru manages to reach Shoto and tries to attack him, but is knocked away by a villain bot. Yuki destroys the rest of the giant villain bots. Many villain bots suddenly reveal themselves as the second obstacle, blocking the path of the participants. Some of the villain bots are the Zero-Point Robots from the U.A. Entrance Exams that cause many students to panic, but not Shoto nor Yuki. He remains calm and expresses his desire to face a more difficult obstacle and proceeds to freeze an entire giant villain bot solid with ease. Shoto immobilizes the giant robot off balance and runs underneath it before it falls into the path of the remaining students. Other villain bots confront Izuku, and instead of quaking in fear like at the entrance exam, he decides to commit himself and tries to devise a strategy. Story. A voice is then heard, agreeing with Shoto as they clap their hands, with that person being Yuki. The rest of the participants all look at her as she steps forward, facing the rest of the robots that were confronting Izuku. She admits Shoto’s attack was impressive, but isn’t comparable to her attack she’s about to unleash as she transforms into her first form of her five forms called Strong Form.

—————————————————————————— Later that night, Izuku is released from Recovery Girl’s infirmary with his wounds treated. Yuki finds him and walks up to him, thanking him for trying to save All Might’s earlier. Izuku realises that she must have some kind of relationship with All Might but doesn’t ask of it, telling her that he couldn’t let that happen to him either. She agrees and reassures him that if he continues to believe in himself, he’ll be a great hero one day, and maybe just like his idol, All Might too. He appreciates her words and thanks her too, waving goodbye as she gives a small wave back before heading off to find Ochaco and Tenya, who’re waiting for him outside the school and walks home with them. Elsewhere, an unidentified figure standing on a rooftop stares down at the city. That’s the Idea , Ochaco { そういうことね お茶子さん , Sō iu koto ne Ochako-san ? } the fourteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the first episode of the second season. Summary // Story. All Might’s former teacher reads his letter about Izuku Midoriya. The News reports that U.A. High’s hero course students were attacked by the League of Villains. It is reported that the criminal forces plotted on killing All Might and “bringing back” Yuki to the world’s Symbol of Evil, All For One?! Seventy-two criminals were arrested, but the leader escaped and his whereabouts remain unknown.

—————————————————————————— Shoto Todoroki : Origin { 轟 焦凍 : オリジン , Todoroki Shōto : Orijin ? } is the twenty-third episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the tenth episode of the second season. Izuku and Shoto’s final clash. They both power up in preparation for one final clash. Cementoss and Midnight decide to step in, fearing one of them might be killed. Shoto sends a large wave of ice at Izuku and around himself, but the latter jumps above it by using One For All in his leg. As he flies towards Shoto, he prepares a full power smash in his undamaged arm, and Shoto counterattacks by switching to fire and superheating the area around him, thanking his opponent as he does so. Even though Cementoss builds a wall between them, Izuku’s wind pressure and Shoto’s heatwave tear through it as if it were only cotton threads, and the resulting shockwave created by the collision of the attacks destroys the entire fighting ring, knocks over Midnight’s stand, and sends a large whirlwind that blows over most of the audience. Yuki decides to step in and blocks the large whirlwind and creates an invincible bubble of hers around Midnight at the same time to shield her from and the audience their attacks by using her Quirk.

—————————————————————————— Shoto Todoroki : Origin { 轟 焦凍 : オリジン , Todoroki Shōto : Orijin ? } is the twenty-third episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the tenth episode of the second season. As Izuku dashes at Shoto, the latter attempts to freeze him. Without any fingers left to use, Izuku pulls back his thumb using his cheek in order to release another smash to blast Shoto away. Shoto asks again why Izuku is putting himself through so much pain, to which his opponent replies it’s because he’s prepared to do whatever it takes to become a hero. After headbutting Shoto, Izuku again challenges him to use his full strength, telling him to stop screwing around because even if he wants to reject his father, Shoto doesn’t have the right to be the best if he’s not prepared to do his best. Story. Izuku’s words make Shoto recall the terrible memories of his past. As more frost covers his body, Shoto remembers he and his mother being abused by Endeavor. As well as a time where he pleaded to his mother about not wanting to become like his father, to which she replies by asking if Shoto still wants to become a hero. Izuku capitalizes and strikes Shoto with another controlled One For All smash, and declares that he will surpass him.

—————————————————————————————— What I Can Do for Now { 今僕に出来ることを , Ima Boku ni Dekiru Koto o? } is the fifth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Summary. Following the practical test for the Entrance Exam, the judges' panel reviews the student scores. They take care to notice that Yuki Itsuki scored the most points, including rescue points. Meanwhile, Izuku Midoriya didn't score a single combat point. Izuku meets All Might at Takoba Municipal Beach Park, where All Might congratulates Izuku for being accepted into U.A. High School personally. All Might then tells Izuku that he will have to keep adjusting to the One For All Quirk, using the image of an egg in the microwave as a basis. Izuku, ready for his first day at U.A. High. Story. Come April, the U.A. academic year begins, and Izuku prepares to leave when his mother stops him and wishes him good luck. Izuku eventually arrives at Class 1-A, hoping that perhaps Katsuki and Tenya aren't in his class, but these hopes are immediately dashed when he finds them both arguing inside. Tenya notices Izuku and introduces himself properly. Then, Ochaco arrives and does the same while praising Izuku for saving her. Katsuki notices and recalls how he confronted Izuku after passing the test. He tries to bully Izuku for getting into U.A., thinking he must have cheated without having a Quirk, but Izuku stands up to him for the first time.

—————————————————————————— Roaring Sports Festival { うなれ体育祭 , Unare Taiikusai ? } is the fifteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the second episode of the second season. With the entire class listening, Shoto explains that although judging by her Quirk and skills that she is possibly stronger than him, the doesn’t mean she’s better than him. Shoto continues by telling Yuki that he will defeat her at the festival. Eijiro tries to diffuse the situation, but Shoto refuses him and moves to leave the room. Yuki stops him and claims a bold statement that although she’s the strongest in the class at the moment, Yuki says she doesn’t even need to aim for the top since she’ll already get there, irritating Shoto as well as Bakugo. Class 1-A walks out to the Freshmen Stage of the Festival Stadium and the U.A. Sports Festival officially begins. The other freshmen classes also arrive. The Chief Referee for the Festival : Midnight, asks for the student representative, Katsuki Bakugo to lead the pledge. Instead, Katsuki takes the stage and announces to everyone that he will win the Festival, garnering boos from all the students. Izuku notices that Katsuki is pushing himself while making targets of Class 1-A at the same time. Story. Yuki then steps forward and challenges him, saying that he’s not wrong, but also asking how he’s so sure that he’ll win and not her. She then states that even though she’s not student representative, she has the most potential than anyone here and that she’s just stating the facts, even if they boo at her will only prove her right cause they just don’t wanna hear the truth, which irritates Katsuki further.

—————————————————————————— All the students watch in awe of All Might’s strength and shock of the appearance of the dragon that shield Yuki, as well as Tomura. The Symbol of Peace explains it took three hundred blows to defeat Nomu, but it would’ve only taken five in his prime. He continues, declaring that the League of Villains are finished, much to Tomura’s displeasure. In Each of Our Hearts { 各々の胸に , Onōno no Mune ni ? } is the thirteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the final episode of the first season. Summary. Tesla takes Denki hostage. In the Mountain Zone of the U.S.J., Denki Kaminari is taken hostage by Tesla, a villain who was unaffected by his Quirk. The villain threatens to kill Denki if the others don’t surrender but admits to having a soft spot for electric types like him. Momo realizes that this must be the same villain jamming their communications. Kyoka attempts to distract the villain by talking while she attempts to plug one of her earphone jacks into the aiming gear on her legs. The electric criminal sees through her plan and warns them again, forcing the two to surrender. Story. Meanwhile, All Might has managed to defeat Nomu, but his Hero Form is at its limit. He is immobilized and tries to bluff in order to scare Tomura and Kurogiri away. Tomura panics after witnessing Nomu’s defeat, believing they have no chance to kill the Symbol of Peace. However, Kurogiri notes the significant amount of damage to All Might and reassures his colleague that they can still kill All Might. They attack, but Izuku breaks his legs using One For All to intercept them in time. He prepares to use a smash on Kurogiri’s weak point, but he warps Tomura’s hand through his body near Izuku’s face. Before he can use his Quirk to harm Izuku, Tomura is shot in the arm.

—————————————————————————— Game Over { ゲームオーバー , Gēmu Ōbā? } is the eleventh episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Eraser Head duels with the villain’s ringleader : Tomura Shigaraki. Back near the U.S.J. entrance, Eraser Head continues to repel villains alongside the help of Yuki at the central plaza until he is confronted by Tomura. The ringleader tries to damage Eraser Head’s elbow using his Decay Quirk, but Yuki takes the damage instead, managing to heal itself afterwards. Eraser Head swiftly retreats, as Tomura points out the weakness of his Quirk but compliments him on lasting before the hero is suddenly challenged by a large, monstrous villain. Thirteen tries to use her Quirk to destroy Kurogiri, but he turns it on her and puts the Rescue Hero out of commission. Tenya tries to escape through the exit and Kurogiri cuts him off. Mezo Shoji grabs Kurogiri, giving Tenya a path to the exit. Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru reach the Central Plaza only to find that their classmate has saved their teacher, getting injured in the process by the bio-engineered monster “Nomu”. Summary // Story. Katsuki and Eijiro fighting villains in the Ruins Zone. In a building at the Ruins Zone, Katsuki Bakugo and Eijiro Kirishima finish off the remaining villains. Eijiro wants to go save his classmates, worried they don’t have the offensive ability he and Katsuki do. Katsuki argues that their peers can handle themselves against the weaker villains and that he should focus on defeating Kurogiri, which would trap the remaining villains in the U.S.J. Eijiro is impressed by Katsuki’s calm and rational demeanor, having become used to his angry and aggressive personality. Meanwhile, at the other Zones, members of Class 1-A continue to battle against the villains.

—————————————————————————— Game Over { ゲームオーバー , Gēmu Ōbā? } is the eleventh episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Shoto Todoroki easily routs villains in the Landslide Zone. At the Landslide Zone, Shoto freezes a number of villains as soon as they are all warped there. He evaluates the situation and deduces that the villains who accompanied Tomura and Kurogiri are nothing but small-time thugs. Two more evil-doers try to get the drop on Shoto, but he easily evades their attacks and freezes their bodies. Trying to gather more information about the current conflict, Shoto interrogates the incapacitated villains. He warns them if they remain frozen they will die of hypothermia, and offers to unfreeze them in exchange for information about the villain’s plans to kill All Might and “bring back” Yuki. Summary // Story. Concurrently at the Mountain Zone, Denki Kaminari, Kyoka Jiro, and Momo Yaoyorozu are surrounded by villains. Momo and Kyoka repel a few attacks using weapons created by the former’s Quirk. Denki explains that his Quirk cannot be effective in a situation like their current one and asks for a weapon as well. His Quirk uses by surrounding his body with electricity, but if he shoots it out he risks friendly fire. Thinking on her feet, Kyoka kicks him into a group of villains, electrocuting them. Momo uses her creation Quirk to create a thick insulation sheet to protect her and Kyoka. With no risk to his friends, Denki electrocutes the entire area and disables all the criminals.

Meanwhile, Yuki watches Shota fight and Izuku realizes he underestimated his teacher as Tenya tells his surprised friend and Yuki to move as they follow Thirteen and Class 1-A in an attempt to evacuate, but Yuki refuses again, staying behind. And then, the villain Kurogiri stops them by using his warping Quirk, much to Yuki’s shock. He introduces himself as a member of the League of Villains and discloses that their goal is to kill All Might and “bring back” Yuki. Katsuki and Eijiro Kirishima hastily attack him but to no avail. Before Thirteen can use her Quirk on him, Kurogiri separates the rest of class except from Yuki by warping them into the various simulation zones. Story. The rest of class 1-A warped by Kurogiri. Izuku is transported underwater in the Shipwreck Zone. A shark-like villain attempts to devour him but he is sent drowning by a kick from Tsuyu. After dispatching the villain, Tsuyu uses her tongue to throw Izuku on the ship and follows close behind with Minoru Mineta in tow. They talk about their concerns regarding the villains’ plan to kill All Might and question them wanting to “bring back” Yuki. Izuku proclaims that it’s the class’ job to be heroes and protect All Might and Yuki. Shoto, Katsuki, Eijiro, and several other members of Class 1-A and Yuki fight back against the villains after being transported into their own respective simulation zones.

——————————————————————————  Roaring Sports Festival { うなれ体育祭 , Unare Taiikusai ? } is the fifteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the second episode of the second season. Katsuki tells them that it doesn’t matter and it’s only important that he beats them in the festival, and Yuki challenges him, asking how he’s so sure that he’ll win to which he yells at her. Izuku notices Katsuki’s ambition and recalls the conviction of both Tenya and Ochaco as well. He is ashamed to have doubted his own convictions and decides to devote himself to training for the next few days. While he trains seaside, his fellow classmates train at the Replica City District and their own homes, except for Yuki who doesn’t have a home and has been staying at U.A. Two weeks later the day of the U.A. Sports Festival finally arrives. Izuku is encouraged by his mother to do his best as he leaves for school, and Yuki is as well by Shota and All Might who’re her primary caretakers. The school has increased security and has the festival broadcasted live. Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods, and Death Arms are employed as security. After Mount Lady seduces her way to lunch, they talk briefly about how the school has employed Pro Heroes to secure the facility. Story. Shoto expresses his intention to defeat Izuku. In the Class 1-A waiting room, students change into their P.E. uniforms for the festival, making it fair for everyone since they won’t be wearing costumes. Tenya enters the room and warns his peers that they are about to enter the arena. Before they do, however, Shoto Todoroki approaches Yuki.

Tenya returns with reinforcements. The villain holding Denki hostage is also shot. Both were shot by Pro Hero Snipe, who has arrived with Tenya Ida to save everyone. The Heroes spread out and use their Quirks to defeat any remaining villains. Seeing as they are outnumbered, Tomura declares that the mission is officially over. He is shot several times by Snipe, and then Kurogiri tries to use his Quirk to help both of them escape. Kurogiri is slowed down by Thirteen’s Quirk, but he eventually manages to transport himself and Tomura away. Izuku laments that he was unable to do anything to help, but All Might reassures Izuku that the few vital seconds bought by Izuku’s intervention saved his life. Eijiro goes to check on Izuku’s legs, but Pro Hero Cementoss stops him to prevent the young man from seeing All Might’s weak form. He sends Eijiro to gather his classmates by the exit. All Might thanks Cementoss for concealing his identity, and Cementoss replies that he and Izuku should have their wounds treated in the infirmary. Story. Kurogiri transports himself and Tomura to their secret hideout. An injured Tomura groans about his wounds, and informs his master that the information they received about All Might’s weakening was false. One a blank monitor, a mysterious voice tells Tomura that the report wasn’t false and Tomura was simply overzealous. A second voice asks about Nomu and Kurogiri regretfully informs them he could not find him. The original voice instructs Tomura to gather the villainous elite, and that the young villain will eventually be feared by the world.

—————————————————————————— Shoto Todoroki : Origin { 轟 焦凍 : オリジン , Todoroki Shōto : Orijin ? } is the twenty-third episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the tenth episode of the second season. Shoto asks why Izuku is going so far. Izuku replies that Shoto is trembling and points out that Shoto’s body can only take so much cold because Quirks are physical abilities. He also surmises that Shoto could offset his temperature by using his fire, but knows Shoto refuses to do so. He challenges Shoto to put more effort into the battle, stating that everyone else is giving it their all while Shoto is only using half his power. Izuku provokes Shoto by claiming that he has yet to injure him in this battle, demanding that Shoto use his full strength, intriguing Yuki. Story. Agitated, Shoto rushes Izuku, albeit much slower than before. Katsuki notices Shoto’s drop in mobility and assumes that it’s because Shoto’s stamina is running low after wasting so much of it fighting Hanta. Shoto closes in on Izuku, but as soon as he lifts his right foot to attack, Izuku controls One For All and strikes Shoto in the torso, sending him flying away. Shoto recovers and tries to use another ice attack, but it’s much slower than the previous ones and Izuku is able to avoid it. They both move into closer quarters and fight in spite of their afflictions. Cementoss urges Midnight to stop the match because Izuku is fighting too recklessly by continuing to injure his already broken fingers with more smashes knowing that Recovery Girl will heal him. Shota retorts that Izuku isn’t fighting recklessly, he’s simply doing everything he can to win the match within his current skill level. He also commends Izuku for his resolve and ponders his student’s intent.

—————————————————————————————— What I Can Do for Now { 今僕に出来ることを , Ima Boku ni Dekiru Koto o? } is the fifth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Katsuki impresses the class, except for Yuki, with the first pitch. Shota uses Katsuki as an example. Katsuki only threw about sixty-four meters in middle school, but after using his Quirk, Katsuki proceeds to throw over seven hundred meters. At first, the students are excited to participate, but Shota quickly shuts them down and announces that the student who ranks last in total points will be deemed hopeless and immediately expelled. The class is shocked by his announcement, but Yuki’s reaction’s the opposite, as if she knew he’d say that. Ochaco declares that the rule is unfair, and Shota replies that the world is unfair, and it's a hero's job to combat that unfairness. While the Quirk Apprehension Test begins, All Might worries that Shota will single out Izuku almost immediately and goes to watch it in person, as well as Yuki, of course. The test is composed of students competing in a series of physical tests. During the trials, every student uses their Quirks to excel, while Izuku struggles since he can only use One For All at one hundred percent or not at all. Yuki excels in each test, with Katsuki doing well too, thanks to the versatility of their Quirk’s. Story. Shota questions Izuku's ability to become a hero. The class reaches the pitching test, and Izuku realizes this is the only test left where he can show off his abilities to avoid getting expelled. He tries to use his Quirk to throw the ball, but it fails. Shota reveals his own Quirk, the ability to erase other people’s Quirks.

—————————————————————————————— Start Line { スタートライン , Sutāto Rain? } is the fourth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Summary. Izuku vs. Everyone. Just before the practical test of the U.A. Entrance Exam begins, all the participants stand in awe over the sheer size of the training field. Izuku notices Ochaco Uraraka { the girl who had saved him from falling earlier } and wants to thank her, but he is stopped by fellow participant, Tenya Ida. Tenya had yelled at him earlier to stop muttering in the auditorium. Tenya warns Izuku not to distract Ochaco, while everyone else talks about how they've already counted him out of passing the exam. Story. The exam suddenly begins, and everyone rushes inside the test area, leaving Izuku behind. He follows closely behind but is halted when an enemy robot worth one point attacks him. He is saved by Yuga Aoyama, who uses his navel laser to destroy the robot before moving on to others. Izuku scrambles around the area looking for robots to destroy but finds that the vast majority have been taken out by other participants. Elsewhere, the panel of U.A. judges discuss what it takes to pass the exam, including speed, strength, and a calm mind.

—————————————————————————— Cavalry Battle Finale { 騎馬戦決着 , Kibasen Ketchaku ? } is the eighteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the fifth episode of the second season. Team Todoroki makes their move against Yuki. Meanwhile, Neito Monoma provokes Katsuki into attacking him. Not only does Neito evade Katsuki’s initial blast, but he also uses an explosion of his own to repel his Class 1-A rival. When Katsuki tries to attack him again, Neito uses Eijiro’s Hardening power to defend himself. Katsuki realizes Neito’s Quirk is the ability to copy other people’s powers. Katsuki tries to attack again, but his team is immobilized by Kojiro Bondo’s Quirk, Cemedine. As Team Monoma flees the area, Neito taunts Katsuki about his pledge before the Festival. Despite his undeniable rage and lack of points, Katsuki remains determined to come out on top. Story. Thanks to Tenya’s Recipro Burst, Team Todoroki almost take the ten million points. For the latter half of the games, Yuki is able to keep away from Team Todoroki by keeping their distance and staying on Shoto’s left side. In that position, Shoto is unable to freeze them without hitting Tenya. Shoto’s father, Endeavor, comments that Shoto is foolish for allowing Yuki to exploit his weakness. With time running out, Iida uses his special move Recipro Burst to unleash a burst of super speed and in an instant, Moon flies up into the sky just before Shoto could steal Yuki’s headband. Iida’s engines stall, as a result, meaning he cannot move, and Team Yuki flee the area as well.

—————————————————————————— Strategy , Strategy , Strategy { 策策策 , Sakusakusaku ? } is the seventeenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the fourth episode of the second season. Back at the stadium, students have begun picking their teams. Many students from Class 1-A try to convince Katsuki to join their team, but he has a hard time recollecting their names and Quirks, annoying them with his ego. Watching from the stands, All Might notes that although he’s a hothead, Katsuki garners so much attention because of his versatile Quirk and placement in the Obstacle Course. Then Eijiro tries to join Katsuki since Shoto denied him already. Katsuki forgets Eijiro’s name as well, but the latter makes a strong case for his team and Katsuki decides they will go into battle together. Story. Everyone avoids Yuki. Yuki notices that all the participants are joining fellow peers from their homeroom class, but they’re all also avoiding her because she’s worth so many points.

—————————————————————————— In Their Own Quirky Ways { みんな個性的でいいね , Min’na Kosei-teki de Ī ne ? } is the sixteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the third episode of the second season. Despite his lead, Shoto is put at a disadvantage when he reaches the final obstacle : The Mine Field. Shoto has to trek carefully through the field and is eventually caught up to by Katsuki, who is still using his Quirk to fly through the air. He catches Shoto and tries to blast him with an explosion. Katsuki remains irritated that Shoto bothered to challenge Yuki and not him, and the two start to battle for first place. Yuki decides to pull a prank on all of the participants by using one of her abilities, nature manipulation, to force all the pink powder-like-bombs to activate and are sent blasting up, causing the competitors to spin in the air. She can’t help but smirk as she flies across The Mine Field. Yuki passes Katsuki and Shoto with some quick thinking and a cheap trick. Yuki’s prank allows her to fly across The Mine Field and to the finish line, placing first instead. A while after, the remaining fourth two qualifiers arrive back in the arena. Yuki crosses the finish line first. Yuki looks into the stands and sees All Might, with a proud smile on his face. Yuki feels like she can’t believe she finally won the first event after dreaming of doing so when she was younger, and she finds herself giving a small smile at him. But she’s just warming up. Story. After announcing the standings, Midnight moves the Festival on to the second event : The Cavalry Battle. The top forty-three qualifiers form teams from two to four people in order to earn points by stealing headbands from other teams. A team’s point value is based on the value of its individual members. The members of the team receive point value based on their placement in the obstacle race.

Nomu apprehended by the Police. Story. Class 1-A gathers outside the U.S.J. and Investigator Naomasa Tsukauchi informs them that other than Izuku and Yuki who’s healing herself, no students sustained major injuries. The students discuss their experiences fighting villains amongst themselves, the sudden appearance of the dragon that was shielding injured Yuki, and Tsuyu inquires about Thirteen and Eraser Head. The investigator tells them Thirteen and Eraser Head were critically injured, but are not in life-threatening condition. After receiving a report about the Police capturing Nomu, the investigator leaves for the nurses office. There he finds All Might and Izuku being treated by Recovery Girl. All Might introduces Naomasa as his best friend on the Police force and reveals he knows all about All Might’s identity. Izuku thanks All Might for saving them, but All Might replies with praise for the young heroes in training. He believes each of them fought bravely at the U.S.J. and will make fine pro heroes one day.

—————————————————————————— Izuku, Tsuyu, and Minoru escape the Shipwreck Zone. Villains have Izuku, Minoru, and Tsuyu’s ship surrounded, but they refuse to board it. While Izuku strategizes, Minoru panics and fears the worst. Izuku recognizes that the villains don’t have any information about the student’s Quirks probably except for Yuki’s because of how much they seem to want her “back” and are being cautious. Using information from his peers on their Quirks, Izuku creates his plan. A villain uses his water manipulation Quirk to strike the ship and breaks it into pieces. Before the ship sinks, Izuku enacts his plan. He jumps off the ship and uses Delaware Smash on the surface of the water to make it spread out and collect rapidly back together. The converged water traps the villains a vortex mixed with Minoru’s sticky spheres which keep them stuck to each other. With the villains defeated, Tsuyu uses her tongue to grab her comrades and escape the Shipwreck Zone. Game Over { ゲームオーバー , Gēmu Ōbā? } is the eleventh episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Summary // Story. Izuku, Minoru, and Tsuyu escape the Shipwreck Zone, having just defeated a group of villains there with the combined efforts of their Quirks and quick thinking. They discuss their next course of action and agree that they should head for the exit and avoid the central plaza entirely. The central plaza is where Eraser Head and Yuki are battling a large group of villains. Izuku believes that this will only end up exhausting them, and decides that they should go try and help.

Villains appear in the plaza of the U.S.J., lead by three mysterious villains. One of them notices that All Might is not among the class, but Yuki is. He and colleague review that All Might was supposed to be teaching the class, according to a schedule procured from the previous day. Eraser Head recognizes that the villains are truly the recent U.A. intruders. One of the villains, Tomura Shigaraki, is quite pleased that All Might is absent. He ponders if the Symbol of Peace will arrive after they’ve murdered the students and taken “back” Yuki. Story. Eraser Head takes charge, ordering Thirteen to evacuate the students and contact U.A. High. But Yuki refuses to leave him to fight, stating how they’re here for her, to which Shigaraki is quite intrigued of her notice. Izuku also has concerns about Shota fighting against the villains, but Eraser Head reassures the two and tells Yuki to not interfere, leaping into battle. A firing squad sets their sights on Eraser Head, but he uses his Quirk to cancel each of theirs out and knocks them out using his capture weapon. The villains quickly recognize him as the Pro Hero Eraser Head and reveal his Quirk before a mutant-type Quirk using villain confronts him. The villain knows Eraser Head’s Quirk can’t cancel out his own and attacks. Eraser Head easily counters him by keeping the villain at a distance using the Capturing Weapon.

—————————————————————————————— Start Line { スタートライン , Sutāto Rain? } is the fourth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Story. As the test comes to an end, Izuku finds himself sitting at zero points when a giant robot worth zero points appears. Everyone flees in panic, while Izuku is paralyzed with fear. The robot smashes a few buildings and traps Ochaco underneath the debris. As the robot moves closer, it threatens to crush the girl. Yuki is about to go and help her and destroy the robot, when she notices Izuku. Seeing the girl who helped him earlier in danger is enough to get Izuku up and rushing to her aid. Filled with adrenaline, Izuku conjures the power of One For All and uses it to leap high into the air and deliver a powerful smash to destroy the robot. All the other participants watch in awe, Yuki’s eyes slightly narrowing as she watches with them. The panel of U.A. judges praise Izuku for his self-sacrifice. Having used One For All for the first time, Izuku begins feeling the physical repercussions of his new Quirk ; his legs and his right arm are broken from his efforts. He free-falls from the air and tries to use One For All to make a safe landing but is saved by Ochaco before he hits the ground.

—————————————————————————————— What It Takes to Be a Hero { ヒーローの条件 , Hīrō no Jōken? } is the second episode of the My Hero Academia anime. However, after realizing the villain has Katsuki hostage, an erratic Izuku rushes to his rescue, while All Might is stunned at this as the other heroes attempt to stop him. Izuku remembers his notes and is about to strike the sludge villain with his bag, until a girl, who looks around his age, suddenly appears and faces the villain, much to everyone, especially All Might’s shock. Story. Yuki saves Katsuki. Yuki uses a great amount of strength to destroy the Sludge Villain with a big gust of wind while freeing Katsuki at the same time, the crowd erupting into cheers. Izuku quickly straps back his bag’s shoulder straps around him, rushing to Katsuki’s side. Katsuki asks why he's there, and Izuku answers that it is because Katsuki's eyes were pleading for help, and he couldn't bear to watch him die. Afterwards, the heroes scold Izuku for risking his life and praise Katsuki for fighting back as Yuki gets surrounded by reporters. Once she manages to escape the reporters, All Might catches up to her and scolds her for risking her life too, to which she reassures him that she’d of been perfectly fine no matter what the villain could’ve done to her. This gives All Might a brief reminder into Yuki’s confidence for herself and her abilities. Later that day, Katsuki confronts Izuku and tells him that he never asked to be saved and that Izuku shouldn't look down on him.

While reeling from the attack, Shoto is reminded of his childhood. He remembers that as a child he was constantly separated from his siblings, and when his mother finally had a mental breakdown from all the domestic abuse and burned his face. Endeavor had her put into a psychiatric ward, but Shoto blames him for his mother’s breakdown. Still haunted, Shoto states once again that he will reject his father, but Izuku yells that Shoto’s Quirk is his own, and not his father’s. This invokes one last memory, one that Shoto had long forgotten. He and his mother were sitting down watching a special on TV about All Might. All Might encourages all children to use their Quirks in their own way, even though they inherited them from their parents. Shoto’s mother adds that Shoto must remember to stay true to himself, that he is not a prisoner of his lineage, and that it’s okay to use his power to become who he wants to be. Story. Shoto unleashes his full potential. Impassioned, Shoto decides to activate his fire and astounds the entire arena with his display of blazing power. All Might realizes that Izuku had been trying to provoke Shoto to this point in order to save him from rejecting not only half his power, but half of himself. As the flames lower down and the frost melts from Shoto’s body, he says that now Izuku is the one screwing around for helping his opponent. Shoto adds that just like Izuku, he desires to become a hero one day too. Having freed Shoto from his self-repression, Izuku smiles and comments that Shoto’s power is amazing to which he responds with an affecting smile of his own.

In order to break the ice that’s slowly freezing him, Izuku sacrifices his entire left arm and lets off a full-powered smash. Shoto withstands the aftershock of the smash using an ice blockade. While recovering, Shoto notes that this attack from Izuku was significantly more powerful than the previous ones and that he realizes his opponent is trying to keep him at a distance. Izuku is startled by Shoto’s combat awareness, and some viewing fans even comment that Shoto is already stronger than the average Pro Hero, irritating Yuki since she’s way stronger than an average Pro Hero. Story. Questioning Izuku’s durability, Shoto asks if he’s already too worn out from defending against the ice. Izuku doesn’t respond, and instead, he notices that Shoto is shaking because of the frost that builds up on the right side of his body. Shoto apologizes for the intensity of the battle and thanks Izuku for helping him irritate Endeavor by only using ice rather than fire. Understanding that Izuku has no undamaged fingers left, Shoto sends an ice attack at him that he expects to finish the match. However, Izuku declares that he isn’t finished yet and uses one of his already broken finger to blow Shoto’s ice away.

Other teams try to capitalize on Team Monoma, but Neito uses Kosei’s Quirk to repel them. With only one headband remaining, Kosei states that the team is still in fourth and Neito agrees to settle for last place. However, his Class 1-A rival does the opposite of settle. Unsatisfied, Katsuki strategically uses his teammates’ Quirks to close the distance between the two teams. Kosei tries to stop him, but Katsuki blasts through the air shield and takes Neito’s last headband. All Might is impressed that Katsuki understands a truth that no one needed to teach him : “there is a difference between those who aim for the top and those who settle, and that difference matters”. Shota comments that although Class 1-B had a good strategy, they failed to take Katsuki’s “overwhelming tenacity” into account, much to Yuki’s interest. Even after securing more than enough points to advance, Katsuki urges his team to go after Yuki and the ten million points. Story. Yuki avoids Team Todoroki’s attack. Back at the confrontation between Team Yuki and Team Todoroki, Team Yuki manage to flee. But before they could get far, Katsuki also arrives on the scene, but time runs out just as everyone is about to clash.

They remained in the top forty while Katsuki and their other rivals used their Quirk’s freely. Neito comments that it was foolish on their part to obsess about the preliminary round and continues to taunt Katsuki. Neito talks about how Katsuki is famous for being involved in the Sludge Villain incident and calls him a victim, shocking Yuki who heard from a distance. Absolutely livid, Katsuki decides to forgo his original plans and tells his team they’re going to annihilate Class 1-B before going after Yuki. Yuki takes notice of Class 1-B’s long-term strategy and believes that none of them will come after her. But she doesn’t let her guard down, as Team Todoroki confronts her. Shoto declares that he will take the ten million point headband. Cavalry Battle Finale { 騎馬戦決着 , Kibasen Ketchaku ? } is the eighteenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the fifth episode of the second season. Summary. The Cavalry Battle continues, and somehow Team Mineta has lost their headband despite their strategy to remain hidden on Mezo’s back. Foregoing defense, Mezo and his team charge at Yuki, but they’re not the only ones after the ten million point headband. Thanks to Shoto’s leadership, Team Todoroki is able to immobilize the other teams charging for Yuki and takes a few of their headbands. Eraser Head comments that Shoto is adapting his strategy from the Obstacle Race, having used Denki’s lightning before freezing his opponents this time.

—————————————————————————— Strategy , Strategy , Strategy { 策策策 , Sakusakusaku ? } is the seventeenth episode of the My Hero Academia anime and the fourth episode of the second season. The Cavalry Battle begins and many of the teams go straight for Yuki’s headband. Team Tetsutetsu’s Juzo Honenuki uses his Quirk to soften the ground beneath Yuki, but she quickly flies up, avoiding his attempt to trap her. Equipped with a jetpack and hover soles created by Mei, Team Midoriya is also going straight for Yuki’s headband. Kyoka tries to use her Earphone Jacks to attack Yuki while she’s in the air, but Yuki’s Inner Dragon, Moon, deflects it. Izuku comments on Yuki’s dragons and powerful Quirk and says that they need to be careful. Kyoka’s Team wants to go after Yuki but notices their headband has been stolen by Neito, who comments on how it was too easy. Team Mineta rushes Yuki. Yuki notices Mezo not being alone, with Tsuyu and Minoru are riding on his back, shielded from sight by his tentacles. They use both their Quirks to attack Yuki, but Moon easily dodges their attacks. Team Tetsutetsu joins the fray, and Moon flies back up in the air. Katsuki immediately pursues Yuki by using his explosions to fly. Katsuki tries to blast Yuki out of the air, but Moon dodges and Yuki counterattacks. Katsuki begins to fall out of the air, but Hanta uses his tape to secure him. Midnight rules that since Katsuki didn’t touch the ground, his maneuver was completely legal. Story. Neito steals Team Bakugo’s points. The crowd cheers loudly and fans comment on the skills of Class 1-A, but Present Mic announces that other then Yuki, no one in Class 1-A is currently placed in the top four. Team Monoma even manages to steal Katsuki’s headband.

—————————————————————————— Yeah, Just Do Your Best, Ida! { いいぞガンバレ飯田くん！, Ī zo Ganbare Īda-kun !? } is the ninth episode of the My Hero Academia anime. Later on, Izuku, Ochaco, and Tenya sit together and have lunch in the mess hall. Izuku is surprised about the class's votes that almost lead him to being class representative, meaning that he would’ve had to lead the class, and Tenya agrees with him. Tenya even admits that he himself voted for Izuku because of his intuition during the entrance exam. Noticing Tenya's formal attitude, Ochaco asks about Tenya's family and their wealth. Tenya hesitantly admits to being a member of the Ida Hero Family because he fears it will change how others view him. Tenya's brother is the Turbo Hero Ingenium, a famous pro-hero. Their conversation is disrupted when the school alarms abruptly go off. A third-year student points out that this means someone has infiltrated U.A. by bypassing the defensive barrier. Story. All students try to evacuate the mess hall at once, creating a major traffic jam in the outside hallway. Despite being caught in the panic, Tenya notices that it is only the media who have managed to trespass on campus. Drawing inspiration from his brother and Izuku, Tenya comes up with a plan to calm everyone around him, except Yuki who already knows of it. He asks Uraraka to make him float and then boosts himself onto the emergency exit board before yelling for the students to calm down. He explains that the infiltration is only the press, relieving the chaotic situation.
