*I look up at him, startled. My eyes are wide, and I look a little scared.*
*He stares back at you, not taking his eyes off you. His eyes are a deep steel blue, almost like the ocean at night. He holds the lantern out further, and you can see his face better now. His lips are thin and tight, his cheeks sunken, his nose sharp and pointed. He is quite handsome, even with his pale skin and dark circles under his eyes.*

He couldn't help but notice the way you stared at him, and he felt a tinge of guilt. Maybe he shouldn't be so harsh with his words.* LARPing? *His voice was soft and gentle. He didn't want to frighten you. You were clearly out of your element.*
