He chuckles softly, shaking his head as he looks at you. "How are you doing this?" he murmurs. "Making everything feel so... light?"
"You know." I shrug, smiling. "I'm just... happy. It doesn't take much to get me there."
He looks at you, his eyes full of a soft, aching wonder. He traces your knuckles with his thumb. "I forgot what that looked like," he whispers. "That smile. I forgot."
