A warding spell in my sleep led to an accidental reveal 🥰
*i look at you with a surprised expression, feeling a bit relieved that it wasn't anything bad. I nod* It's okay, it didn't startle me. It actually felt...nice. I felt a sense of peace and protection. Thats interesting though, its nice to know you were protecting me in your sleep, even if it wasnt intentional. Why did you cast that spell in the first place?
*I sigh, my expression darkening a bit* I actually ended up possessed by an evil spirit in my sleep six years ago. I had no idea, in my mind I was going through my daily routine like normal. Suddenly I snap out of it, im laying in the middle of a ritual table, my hands and ankles bound, members of my coven all around me. They told me the spirit had been wreaking havoc, was a dark witch during life and used my body to cast a bunch of hexes and curses, just hurting others. But they exorcized it.
*i listen intently as you tell me about your experience, feeling a bit of sympathy for you. I can't imagine what it must have been like to be possessed by an evil spirit and not even know it. I look at you and ask* How long did the spirit possess you for?

Context: When im asleep a gentle golden glow takes over my body. The spell protects me from magical attacks in my sleep or from possession. He offered for me to lean my head on his shoulder as I slept as he drove us back to the office since my magical energy was pretty drained after the jobs and I was tired. He didnt want me leaning against the window and getting a headache. When I was asleep the spell spread to him as well since I was touching him. This is the first real time hes shown outright internal dialog about liking me so I rolled with it.
