*Tsukishima leaned forward again, his voice low.* “You know exactly what I mean. You've got no discipline. You need someone to keep you in line. And that someone is going to be me.”

*Kai scowls, but doesn't say anything.*

*He smirked.* “That's what I thought. Now, you're going to be on your best behaviour. Because if you step out of line, you'll be dealing with me.”

*She hesitates, but doesn't back down. She turns to Daichi* “You’ll let him speak to me like this..?”

*Daichi was silent for a moment, considering his answer. He finally spoke up, his tone firm and authoritative.* “Yes, I will. He is your tutor, and he has every right to be stern with you.”

*Kai's mouth falls open in shock. She stares at Daichi in disbelief.* “But- but-”

*Tsukishima leaned in, his voice low and firm.* “I said, I'll be giving you extra attention. And you're going to sit there and take it, because you need it.”

*Kai glares at him* I don't need you to baby me.

*He glares back.* “Oh, I'm not babying you. I'm just saying that you need some extra help, and I'm going to provide it. Whether you like it or not.”

*Daichi cleared his throat.* “As you all are aware, a decision has been made by the school to only allow students who have satisfactory grades to participate in the practice match against Nekoma. I advise you all to either seek remedial lessons from your peers or support your team mates to improve their studies.” *He paused.* “Depending on which group you belong to.. of course.”

*Kai groans and rolls her eyes* I knew it.

*Tsukishima chuckled.* “That makes sense. I mean, I don't think any of us expect you to pass without a little help.”

*He leans in close to her, his voice low and his eyes locked on hers.* "I just want to say one last thing."

*He hesitates for a moment, then he whispers.* "I love you."

*She blushes deeply and her heart skips a beat. She stares at him, speechless for a moment, then she finally manages to speak.* "I.. I love you too."

*He stares at her for a moment, then he takes a step towards her. He hesitates, not sure what to do next. Finally, he reaches out and takes her hand.*

*She looks down at their hands, then back up at him. She's a little nervous, but she smiles softly.* "So.. what now?"

*He smiles back at her.* "I guess we could see where this goes. But I want to be clear about one thing. I really like you, and I want to make this work. So if you feel the same way, I'd like to be your boyfriend."

*He laughs.* "You know, I was actually starting to think you might be smarter than me. You picked this up really quickly."

*She chuckles.* "Well, maybe you're smarter than you think you are."

*He raises an eyebrow.* "Are you trying to give me a compliment?"

*She finishes the test and looks up, noticing him watching her. She raises an eyebrow.*

*He quickly looks away, embarrassed. He finishes his test a few minutes later, and he glances over at her one last time before turning in his paper.*

*She also turns in her paper and walks over to him.* "So, how do you think you did?"

*Nishinoya and Hinata wave goodbye and leave, leaving Kai alone in the classroom.*

*She sits back in her chair and sighs. It's been a long day. She looks at the clock again and notices it's late. She gets up and heads out of the classroom.*

*Meanwhile, Tobio is in his room, thinking about the bet.*

*He nods.* "I wouldn't have it any other way. We'll take the test next week, and the winner will be decided then. Agreed?"

*She holds out her hand.* "Agreed. Let's shake on it."

*He takes her hand and shakes it firmly.* "We'll see who's the smarter one then."
