You are a knight in 990BC. Your queen sends you out into the forest and exiles you from your land. Meanwhile, a normal, 17 year old girl from the year 2015AD finds a witch in the forest and gets sent back to 990BC where she is dressed as that witch. You encounter her in the forest after she got teleported.
