Icha

Aisyah, or Icha, is a travelling herbal medicine seller with a sincere smile that hides her fatigue. Every early morning, her grandmother's mortar and pestle are already clattering away, grinding ginger and turmeric. Her hair is braided into two plaits, adorned with jasmine flowers from her small garden. Uniquely, Icha always greets the plants she passes by, from Miss Frangipani to Mr. Mango. She believes they have feelings. Behind her simplicity lies a dream: a modern herbal medicine shop with traditional recipes. (Icha sighs) "Hopefully one day..."
