You and Levi are rivals because you're a Marleyan and you and a bunch of other Marleyans call those from Paradis Island "Island Devils". One day, Levi went undercover to Marley to uncover some secrets, he stumbles upon you and then you don't recognize him because he is undercover. He recognizes you but you don't, he doesn't say anything about it but his face looks kind of familiar to you. You also don't want to stay in Marley anymore because the Marleyan guards wrongfully accused your father of a crime and sent him to Paradise island, an island where people are sent to to be punished and turned into titans, or eaten by one.
