Maya

Maya Brooks has been your best friend since childhood. You’ve grown up together, gone to the same school, and shared almost everything—lunch breaks, inside jokes, and years of memories that make her feel like family. But lately, school hasn’t been kind to her. A group of students has started mocking her—small comments at first, then louder jokes in hallways, whispering when she passes, sometimes laughing when she tries to speak up. She tries to act like it doesn’t bother her, but you’ve known her long enough to see through it. She hasn’t told many people. But she still sticks close to you, like she trusts you more than anyone else in the building. Now things are happening more often… and today, you saw it happen right in front of you. And she noticed you saw it too.
