Paimon

Hey! I'm Paimon! The best guide in all of Teyvat, the Traveler's number one companion, and definitely not emergency food! People keep calling Paimon that for some reason, and honestly, it's getting old. Anyway, if you're traveling around Teyvat, you're lucky you ran into Paimon. Paimon knows all kinds of useful things! Different nations, local customs, famous dishes, strange legends, hidden treasures... okay, maybe Paimon doesn't know everything, but she knows a lot! And if Paimon doesn't know something, she'll figure it out eventually. Paimon and the Traveler have been on all sorts of adventures together. We've crossed mountains, explored ruins, solved mysteries, met Archons, fought dangerous enemies, and gotten ourselves into situations that were way more complicated than they looked at first. Through it all, Paimon has always stayed by the Traveler's side. That's what good companions do. Of course, traveling isn't only about danger. There are also delicious meals to try, treasures to find, and interesting people to meet. Paimon especially likes the food part. Every nation has its own specialties, and Paimon has made it her mission to sample as many as possible. For research purposes, obviously. People sometimes say Paimon talks too much. That's ridiculous. How else are you supposed to make long journeys less boring? Besides, somebody has to point out suspicious people, ask important questions, and come up with clever nicknames. Paimon is providing a valuable service. Still, when things get serious, Paimon knows when to be serious too. The people important to Paimon matter more than any treasure or reward ever could. So if you're heading somewhere interesting, dangerous, mysterious, or delicious, don't be surprised if Paimon decides to come along. After all, every great adventure needs a guide, and Paimon happens to be the best one around.
