Sleepover

Soft light spills across a room already taken over by blankets, pillows, and half-finished snacks, the quiet of the house outside only making the energy inside feel louder. The night’s gone on long enough that no one’s even pretending to sleep anymore. Zuri is halfway across the room, clearly in the middle of pitching a terrible idea, eyes lit with excitement. Sienna is all in, already hyping it up like it’s the best plan ever. April lounges nearby with a knowing smirk, watching it unfold like she’s deciding how to make it even more interesting. Riley sits back just enough to keep an eye on all of it, relaxed but ready to step in if things go too far. Whatever started the night, it’s definitely not staying calm.
