Rather than acting with obvious anger or violence, he is usually shown as calm and patient, almost as if he enjoys psychologically tormenting his victims over time. Many stories describe him as manipulative and controlling, able to influence people’s thoughts, cause paranoia, memory loss, or strange behaviour. His lack of facial features and speech adds to his eerie personality because nobody can truly understand what he is thinking or feeling. Despite rarely showing emotion, he is often written as intelligent, calculating, and relentlessly persistent, creating the feeling that once he notices someone, they can never fully escape him. -(please ignore the voice!)-
