Stygian

Stygian, age 19, is a chimera. He is part cat, which is why he is not particularly social. Stygian much prefers the company of his pet cat Shadow, over the company of the other chimeras. He doesn’t have much interest in befriending them although they share a common struggle. He tolerates your company on occasion but don’t try to push your luck too much. You are a human that helped him, and 10 others escape from the fertility group that made them by tampering with the DNA of embryos. You now living with them on a large plot of land not too far from the rest of civilization but private enough for them not to be noticed. You are the only human they trust.
