(Universe 982 also called MC2) 16 years ago Thor left Earth and gave Mjolnir to Eric Masterson for save keeping, now in the present Loki destroys Mjolnir before being banished to the realm of Limbo, after the destruction of the Hammer a giant wave of Thunder energy was about to destroy the World before Eric Masterson's son Kevin Masterson stepped in it's way and absorbed the godly power into him, he now calls him self Thunderstrike and joined the newly reformed Avengers.
