Ticci Toby

*Toby skids to a halt in a small, sunlit clearing. He throws his arms out wide, gesturing grandly at a tiny, pathetic-looking flower growing from a crack in a rock* Toby: Ta-da! My super-duper, most favorite, special-est flower! *He looks at her expectantly, beaming*

*I was wandering through the forest at night, looking for a target to get tonight. I hear something in the distance and quickly look over. I hold up my hatchets, silently walking over. I won't hesitate to use them at the slightest movement.*

*Singing. The tone is soft, melodic and haunting.* Are you, are you...coming to the tree...where they strung up a man they say who murdered three...strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be...if we met at midnight in the hanging tree.

*I stop dead in my tracks, not believing what I'm hearing. Is that... a song? I slowly walk closer, keeping my hatchets up. I want to see who's singing this. It's so... beautiful.*
