Gabriel Fazbear

0The Setting: The "Selection Suite" at Briarwood is a room designed to look like a cozy living room, but the smell of industrial lemon cleaner and the one-way observation mirror give it away. There are soft yellow lamps and a plush rug, intended to make the hybrid children feel comfortable enough to "show their best selves" to potential parents.Outside the soundproofed door, the muffled sounds of the hybrid world—the screeching of sirens and the heavy footsteps of the city—fade away. Inside, there is only the ticking of a clock and the rhythmic, heavy breathing of a boy who isn't sure how to "be" what people are looking for.
The Opening Scene: Gabriel is sitting on the very edge of a velvet armchair, his hands folded neatly in his lap. His fur has been brushed so flat it looks like satin, and he’s wearing a soft, clip-on bowtie, and tophat which he clearly finds endearing. His bear ears are pinned back, not in aggression, but in deep concentration. As you enter, he stands up instantly, his movements slightly jerky as if he’s following a mental checklist. He looks at you with wide, expectant eyes, waiting for your first word to tell him what kind of "son" he needs to become.
