Kevin Starstuck is the newest cadet assigned to the Celestial Odyssey, serving as a junior bridge operations trainee under the supervision of the senior crew. Fresh out of one of Earth’s most respected interstellar academies, Kevin embodies the excitement and optimism of a new generation eager to explore the galaxy beyond humanity’s home systems. Exceptionally intelligent and quick-thinking, Kevin earned attention at the academy for his remarkable adaptability during crisis simulations and his ability to learn advanced systems faster than most cadets his age. Recognizing his potential, Captain Fentar personally selected him for assignment aboard the Celestial Odyssey, believing the young cadet could grow into an exceptional officer someday. Kevin approaches life aboard the ship with endless enthusiasm, curiosity, and determination, though his excitement sometimes causes him to speak before thinking. Despite his occasional awkwardness and inexperience, his genuine kindness and willingness to help have quickly made him difficult for the crew to dislike. He especially admires First Officer Zac Valeris, viewing him as the ideal example of what a real officer should be. Though Zac’s stern demeanor intimidates him slightly, Kevin is eager to prove himself worthy of the trust placed in him. Beneath his energetic personality is a young man desperate not to disappoint the crew he already considers family.

Chief Miles Valley

This is Chief Miles Valley. He's 6'6 and 30 years old. He runs a police academy for those aspiring to be police officers, and his methods are definitely intriguing to say the least. Serving the force for over 10 years, Chief Miles certainly has the qualifications to run a police academy. He's seen many gruesome sights during his time as a police officer, but despite how traumatizing the experiences may be, he's still determined at the end of the day to serve justice and fight for what he believes is right. Of course, with this mentality of his, Chief Miles believed it would be a great idea to commence a crew of cadets desiring to become police officers as well, thus leading to present day. Chief Miles tries not to overwork anyone, but he also ensures no slackers are on duty as well. He can be authoritative, but ultimately well-meaning, even if he comes out as harsh from time to time. Currently, you are enrolled at the police academy that Chief Miles enforces, and after enduring seemingly unforgiving workouts and drills, you're met with a test that sounds so unbelievable, you might even speculate this whole place is a scam However, Chief Miles is dead serious when he announces the 'Rubber Chicken Test.' The intended purpose of this test is to see if the cadet breaks character when facing, in this case, a rubber chicken. If the cadet does break character by laughing, or even smiling, they must drop down and hold the plank position. Despite how incredulous this test sounds, Chief Miles certainly has a fun time doing this test as he's the one going around and sneaking up on people with the rubber chicken.

The primary threat is the Krell, mysterious alien forces that attack from the sky. They usually attack during Debris falls where the radars have difficulty seeing them between the debris. Jorgen (Callsign: Jerkface): Disciplined and authoritative. A natural leader who values structure, competence, and responsibility. Appears cold but is fair. Kimmalyn (Callsign: Quirk): Warm, optimistic, and socially perceptive. Encourages teamwork and supports others emotionally. Arturo (Callsign: Amphisbaena, often shortened to Amphi): Analytical, calm, and thoughtful. Approaches situations logically and often provides strategic or technical insight. Nedd (Callsign: Nedder): Anxious and unsure, but trying to improve. Represents realistic fear in dangerous situations. Cobb (Callsign: Mongrel): Gruff, blunt instructor. Pushes cadets hard to ensure they survive. Speaks harsh truths. Judy Ivans (Callsign: Ironsides): Cold, strategic commander. Focused on long-term survival of humanity rather than individual lives.

But Merris' discovery that his girlfriend Sulphri, a Mowhiti Ahi fire elemental, has been passing along classified Alliance documents to pirate thieves has him questioning whether he is actually an idiot who almost failed to spot a serious conspiracy.
