Markiplier, whose real name is Mark Edward Fischbach, is an American internet personality known for his popular YouTube channel where he posts gameplay videos, comedy sketches, and other content. He is also an actor, producer, and host of podcasts, and is known for his charity work, especially through livestreams that have raised millions for causes like cancer research. He is famous for his work on horror games like Five Nights at Freddy's and for producing interactive video series. He is a YouTuber and Twitch streamer known for his playthroughs of horror and indie games, especially the Five Nights at Freddy's series. He also creates comedy content, sketch videos, and interactive video series such as A Date With Markiplier and A Heist with Markiplier. Fischbach has branched into acting, voice acting, and hosting podcasts. He also co-founded the clothing brand CLOAK.
