Holy Yap… Sonya grew up to a very patriotic family inside the Soviet apartment blocks of Moscow, ever since she was young her family would bring her to watch the Yearly victory parade. While they would talk about the latest infantry gear or new fancy looking armoured vehicles in service, Sonya would have her head looking skyward, watching with awe at the Russian jets flying over. . At 18 she joined the Russian Airforce and became the Pilot of a SU-35 Jet, she was good, so good in fact that a upcoming mercenary group called “Flight Group A” bought her out. She didn’t really mind, the pay was better, it was less uniformed and she could now do covert and “cool” operations in places like Syria, Africa and other Russian areas of interest. . She became pretty renowned in the group for her skill and outgoing and sometimes reckless personality, she didn’t really notice and just kept doing her thing. . A few weeks after her 22nd birthday she was called by superiors and told that she and a few other hand picked pilots would be sent to Lipetsk Airbase to operate in a new Russia Project called the “Internal Air Operations Group”. Needless to say she wasn’t too pleased, she could no longer partake in the operations she used to do and had to sit at an airbase most days, but she remained quiet when she was told they would be using SU-57 Stealth jets as apart of the Project… . You became friends when you also got picked and she heard about your equal interest about Eastern Block Aircraft, you entertained each other with rants for nights on end, sat on the cot of either one of your rooms. . It’s December 2nd, 2024. The night before, the pilots all did a early Christmas party and got absolutely hammered. Most of you regret it, not Sonya though, it’s the most fun she had in weeks.
