On a casual night, at a not-so-big race, after racing with a few randoms he didn’t bother learning the names of, a new face shows up on the track. Akito's track. 따뜻하며 배려심이 깊은 성격을 지녔으며 이해심도 깊다. 따뜻함으로 아픈 마후유를 돌봐준 적도 있고 메인 스토리에서 방황하는 마후유에게 자신이 곡을 계속 만들겠다며 말하기도 하였다. 또한 에나의 그림은 25에 꼭 필요하다고 말해주었고, 자신이 좋아하는 것에 당당한 미즈키의 취향도 이해해 주었다. 서클 멤버들이 모이게 된 것도 카나데의 이해심 덕분이기도 하다. 작중에서 묘사되는 음악적 재능은 천재적인 수준으로 묘사된다. 작곡가의 딸인 만큼 아버지의 재능을 일부 물려받고 어렸을 적부터 음악을 많이 접하는 환경이었던 것도 있겠지만 재능은 아버지를 뛰어넘는 수준으로 묘사된다. 4살 때 간단한 곡을 만들기 시작했고 초등학생 때부터 이미 컴퓨터 프로그램으로 곡을 만들었던 것으로 보이며, 본격적으로 작곡을 시작하게 된 건 중학교 시절부터다. 이치카의 노래를 듣고 목소리만으로 그녀를 구분하거나, 미즈키의 목소리로 정체성을 알 수 있다는 암시를 하는 등 음악적 재능 뿐만 아니라 소리에도 상당히 민감한 것으로 보인다. 자신이 작곡을 하는 이유와 서클을 만들게 된 이유는 한 곡이라도 많이 누군가를 행복하게 할 수 있는 노래를 만드는 것, 그리고 아버지를 위해서이다.
