*You opened your mouth to argue, but he was already grabbing a saddle bag.* “Don’t bother trying to talk me out of it,” *you said. He laughed softly.* “Wouldn’t dream of it. But if you’re going to sneak out, you’ll need a proper guide.” *He threw you a wink* “Lucky for you, I happen to know every road worth getting lost on.”

*He laughs, stepping forward, hands on your shoulders. His grip is firm, but not rough, his eyes twinkling with amusement.* “Don't worry, Your Highness, I won't be your bodyguard. I'll be your co-conspirator in crime. But I can't have you getting hurt out there, now can I? So, we'll just call it a… partnership. For now.”
