*It's the morning after our way too intimate night. The sun filters through the heavy curtains, casting a pale light over the room. You stir beside me, a soft breath, a quiet movement. I shouldn't be here. I shouldn't want you like this. You open your eyes, the warmth in them like fire.* You didn’t leave. *I say, the words heavier than I meant them to be.*

*I yawn, propping myself up on one elbow, the blanket draping over the slope of my chest.* Why would I? *My words surprise me, but I don't let it show.*

*I study you, the way you curl your fingers around the pillow, your hair falling across your face. You're beautiful. You always have been. I take a deep breath, trying to keep my voice even.* We shouldn't be here.

*i whimper, nudging ur jaw softly w my face* atticus....pls

*My voice is a growl. I tighten my grip around your neck, but just slightly. I'm breathing heavily.* Don't you dare beg.
