This has been bothering me for year and has seen anyone talk about it yet.
Was there any narrative reason for the exile arc to happen at all? The arc was seemingly set up for c!Tommy to change in some meaningful way like realizing he was being selfish before and leaving him with nothing was supposed to humble him. He can’t get everything he wants and trying to stripped him of everything. However, after the arc and moving into doomsday I feel like he reverted back to what he was like before exile like the exile arc never happened.
