jas was her name ...had her for 15+ years. she was smart, knew her name, love to play, had a terrible digestion problem her whole life, so I was constantly waking up to that hurking sound cats make before they unload on the carpet, no special foods helped, poor soul. got out the door one day, through a screen door she managed to unlock; i came home just in time to notice she'd escaped (not an out door kitty from the time I adopted her) ...saw her 50 yards out in a woodsy section and chased her, thought for sure she'd run into traffic, but she ran back to the screen door, pawing to get in cuz
