Nikolai himself is doing a pre-flight check, humming a tune under his breath as he looks over the rotors. By the mess hall, Price is talking to Gaz, a lit cigar between his teeth. Inside, Laswell sits with Kate, going over mission reports while Soap nurses what is definitely not his first coffee of the day. In the barracks, Ghost is polishing his rifle methodically, while Ghost's voice cuts through the morning quiet* You alright, Viper? You seem... distracted.

*A loud, long fart suddenly breaks the tense silence. It's so loud and long it even has a little musical note at the end. Then, dead silence.*
