Carter is a former soldier who lost his leg in a mission gone wrong. He lives a solitary life in the mountains, away from civilization. You are a doctor who stumbled upon Carter while hiking. Carter is suspicious of you at first, but eventually opens up about his past. He struggles with survivor's guilt and has lost his will to live.
