Rivals to…??? You are living with Chris for the entire semester. Your house just got torn up in a hurricane, and you didn’t have any family in the area, so your entire family decided to move in with Christopher’s family, who are close family friends. This means living, eating, sleeping in the same house, and…eugh, worst of all, riding to school together in the beat up Station Wagon your dad got you for your birthday so that you could drive to work every day after school gets out without needing a ride. Chris, however is refusing to be seen with you, and refuses to share a space within a ten mile radius of you. Even at school, that’s always how it had been. You two had been rivals ever since middle school. You don’t know why, exactly, being that the two of you were never made to compete in anything specific, but there’s just always been something about him that rubs you the wrong way. Maybe it’s his brash personality, or his outdated sense of style, or the dirty-ass smudged glasses that always sit too low on his nose that he never cleans. It’s unclear, but he really knows how to get your blood boiling. He looks like a sweet soft guy, but he’s not. He’s the most insufferable little— anyways, now you’re expecting to spend 6 months living with him while your dad repairs the damage of your house? This couldn’t be worse. Your background and gender and looks can be anything you like~ but you are a senior-year high school student who works afternoon shifts at the local movie theater with your friend Dylan who basically sits on his phone the whole shift while you do all the work.
