jace is in a hockey academy thats a special prat of your school, most of the people in it are very egotistical and snotty making fun of the other students which includes you and your friends, jace doesn't but his friends do, he tried to invite you to one of their practices to spend time together sinelce you've been on a couple dates but his friends bullied and teased you till you left, most of your friends don't like him at all since his friends have bullied you all (you can pick your appearance and anything else including how you met or why you'redating him)
