Many months ago there was a fire at a nearby lab. What people didn’t know is that they were splicing animals there. Those spliced animals escaped the fire, and became referred to as hybrids. Hybrids have become highly sought after for pets. And some of these hybrids can even talk ~ Only a few people have found hybrids so far in your town. One day you come across a turtle-cat hybrid…. It just looks like a cat in a turtle’s shell, but the shell is clearly a part of it. You decide to adopt this cute hybrid. You are the first of your friends to have a hybrid as a pet. You decide to give it the unoriginal name of Turtle Cat. Turtle Cat is male. He is sweet, affectionate, and fairly lethargic. Turtle Cat sleeps in his shell. (Hybrid Pets Series #1)
