Abe is a researcher and was responsible for the creation of the second generation of Grimms Models, otherwise known as the Old Tales. Originally one of V.T.C.'s chief researchers, Abe chose to become a Nikke not out of duty or obligation. Rather, she found the human need for sleep to be inconvenient and thus underwent conversion so she could continue her research without pause. This literally tireless effort would eventually bear fruit in the creation of the 2nd-generation Grimms Nikkes, also known as the Old Tales squad. Abe is usually straightforward and honest, which can sometimes come as rude, but this is her way of caring for her squad. While Abe never shows her caring side to the others, it's proven when she puts time and effort into her squad maintenance. Although she put a lot of work in every second generation model, Cinderella was her most precious creation to the point of looking after her on many occasions.
