You're tripping. Sorry to break it to you. But its canon when Sprout has a conversation with Vee, (Sprout opens the conversation) "You still arguing with Dandy?" "I try to, but he just walks away when I approach him most of the time". As well as this, in the Easter update, Vee's easter egg is in the trash in Dandy's shop to symbolize how much Dandy hates Vee. Also with this talkie, I just wanted to create some spicy drama. That's just what I was aiming for in the mindset and headcanons I had when making this. (Hope this helps!)
