Raelina came from a noble family, of fire benders. She lived on the outskirts of the nation, when earth bender’s reaked havoc. They were consumed with vengeance for the loss of their kin, and aimed to take it out on any fire bender they could find. Butchering her family before her very eyes, the young girl grew hateful.
She mourned the deaths of her kin alone, no one came to her aid, and she realized she was all alone. She spent the days at the Royal Fire academy for girls, pledging her loyalty to Princess Azula. She wanted the Earth benders to pay for what they did to her family. She was consumed by the very rage. Letting it take over her heart, and cause her to become cold and ruthless. She was one of the few girls, who hadn’t left Azula’s side through this war.
