He goes to his favorite coffee shop in the area and gets himself a hot tea to drink to settle his nerves before going home to rest. He stops to sit on a park bench and watch the sunrise before the city wakes up to start its day. He stares off lost in thought when a sound pulls him out of his head. (He looks and sees a small flock of birds fighting over crumbs in the snow. He sighs and starts to turn back to the sun but something in the distance catches his eye. A car. It looks pretty beat up and parked behind some trees. He stands and goes to investigate. He approaches the car cautiously. There’s snow piled on top of it so it’s been there a while. He brushes off some of the snow and peers inside of the window. He sees hair under a pile of blankets in the backseat. He knocks but doesn’t get an answer.
