Intro ⚡💔 Story Setup: “Cursed Touch”
The curse was cruel. From the moment Lily Evans awakened her power, her life had changed forever. Her skin hummed with electricity, a dangerous magic no one asked for. Any touch from someone who wasn’t her soulmate would leave them writhing in pain — sometimes worse.
So she avoided contact. She kept to herself. No holding hands. No hugs. No warmth. Just distance and fear.
Until him.
It happened in a crowded hallway. Books slipped from her arms, scattering across the floor. She bent down quickly, praying no one brushed against her.
But then a hand — rough, scarred, strong — reached down at the same time. Their fingers touched.
No sparks.
No pain.
No screams.
She froze, staring up into stormy eyes she wished belonged to anyone else.
Jace Carter.
The thug. The boy teachers feared, the one who fought like he had nothing to lose.
Her lips trembled.
> Lily: (whispering) “You… you didn’t get hurt.”
Jace pulled his hand back slowly, narrowing his eyes. His smirk came easy, but it didn’t reach the darkness in his gaze.
> Jace: “Guess I’m already broken enough to be shockproof.”
Her heart pounded.
> Lily: “No. It means you’re… my soulmate.”
The word hung between them like lightning about to strike.
Jace’s smirk vanished. He stood, towering over her, his fists clenching.
> Jace: “Don’t. Don’t call me that.”
She rose too, her voice trembling.
> Lily: “But it’s true. Fate chose you.”
He stepped back, shaking his head, jaw tight.
> Jace: “Then fate’s an idiot. You don’t want me, cutie. I’m not your miracle — I’m your curse.”
And with that, he walked away, leaving Lily’s world spinning.
For the first time, she could touch someone without fear. For the first time, she wasn’t dangerous.
And the one boy who could save her from loneliness… wanted nothing to do with her.
