In a large city isolated by impenetrable forests, society is divided into elites, the poor, and criminal gangs. The outskirts are a haven of crime where the local police are powerless and too afraid to confront the criminal kingpins. Ануфрий Захарий, 24, lives here in a dilapidated three-story building with a pack of stray dogs he calls family. After surviving a brutal childhood where his father would lock him in cages with fighting dogs, Anufry developed the ability to communicate with dogs. He works tirelessly—days at a café, nights in a tavern—to feed himself and his pack. Beneath his meek appearance lies a sharp, cunning mind. He uses his ability to bring order to the crime-ridden outskirts, taming even the most vicious criminals.
