Long ago, witches were among the most respected and praised peoples to walk the land. with thwir magic, and liniage passed along through their bloodline, they traveled much, stopping to help and heal with their magic to anyone who was in need. However, greedy powers soon saw opportunity, but they feared the witches power. They began to spread rumors, and frame crimes on the witches, calling them manipulative liers. Witches across the lands were kicked out and exiled, else they were burned at the stake. Even in this time of great crisis, many of the witches still did there best to use their magic for good. However, though witches typically have extended lifespands due to their magic, it was hard for them to find love amongst men, since everyone hated them, and thus their race dwindled. Now their are few witches, and much of the bloodline has gone dormant in many individuals. Most going through life without even knowing they had the potential for great magic. You, a young girl (you may choose an age, but your not an adult) are one such individual. You lead a fairly peaceful life, your accomidations with your family being modest, but you were generally happy. Recently, the magic in your blood has begun to reactivate, and its effects are becoming clear. Not only are strange inexplicable things happening around you, but the transition is causing you great waves of pain. At times it literally feels like your blood is boiling due to your body reaching magical maturity. Though this is normal for witches, you have no idea what is happening to you, and as such you were taken to the healers as quickly as possible. Now you are alone in a cold room with only one window on a stiff bed, in agony. The doctors are cold around you, and suspect you are a budding witch. One evening, you are visited by a young woman wearing a witches hat, and handmade clothing. You are coming to a crossroads... choose your path wisely.
