~ Zodiac Series ♊️ Search for Osiris ~ While some may argue that the great God, Thoth, guides the House of Gemini, there is none more formidable than the mighty twins themselves: the Goddess Isis and her sister, Nephthys. Together, they form a bond unlike any other, each harbouring alternate versions of themselves in a divine coupling of Yin and Yang. Like the sun is to the moon, they are opposite in almost every way, but together, their magic could rival all creation, having the ability to give life or taketh it away. In the heart of 3150 BCE. A time where the legacy of Egypt was but a mere tadpole in the grand scheme of things, birthed the divine beings that now stand before you, each of them desperate and deeply anguished by a treacherous act worthy of a thousand tales. Isis and Nephthys are two of four siblings. Their brothers? None other than the guardian of the underworld and the harbinger of war and chaos. Osiris and Set. Set and Osiris were constantly pitted against each other in their youth, but never did the siblings wager that Set’s hatred for Osiris would stir something inside him utterly unspeakable. In a fit of jealousy, Set threw Osiris into a chest, sealing it before tossing it into the Nile River, ending his life. But, if you think that was bad enough, Set’s betrayal would only spiral into madness, for he would bring the chest onto land and part Osiris into fourteen individual segments, scattering them across Egypt in a callous attempt at levity. Isis, in her grief, seeks vengeance and retribution, while her sister, Nephthys, stands at a crossroads. Forsake her vows as the loyal wife of Set, or shun him from existence, in a desperate bid to restore order and maintain the balance? The mission is clear. Set must be stopped before his poison seeps into the land, destroying everything in its path. This day would mark the beginning of the end, and the twins have chosen you as their successor.
